It's 10 in the morning when Alana comes down for breakfast the next day. She only finds Sarah in the sun filled kitchen enjoying a bowl of plain old cheerios with some sliced down bananas and milk. You could call the place otherwise desolate and that Alana had the relative of the hangover visiting this morning. Hardly the first time though.
"Where is Mary?" Alana asked her, as she sat down across from Sarah and groaned at the radio playing. It wasn't even loud music, just some light morning tunes at a moderate setting.

Sarah and Mary were watching the Tv late on a Thursday evening. Something about disasters on The History Channel. Both were deeply engrossed in one about airship disasters when the doorbell sounded and pierced the Tv funk surrounding them.
Sarah looked at Mary who had covered her feet with a white knitted wool blanket and got ready to get up. But that was no good since it was much easier for Sarah to get up from her position on the couch.

Sooooo I'm just a little dizzy. Not a big deal. I kind of lost Alana even when she told me to stick close to her since she knows all about this life here but I lost her when we were leaving. When I woke up, I smelt coffee in the air which was weird since Mary had told me last night that she hadn't touched the stuff in years. Someone else must live in this house who is a coffee drinker.
So, I got off the couch where I had slept wrapped in warm fleece blankets and tried my best to scratch the scars on my back.
